Tai Chi for Life Workshop

(Seniors and Beginners)This gentle form of exercise is beneficial for enhancing and sustaining strength, flexibility, and balance, and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life. Choose comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that don’t limit your range of motion, along with shoes that provide full foot coverage and a non-slip grip. Thin soles are preferable to help you feel the ground better. Grip socks are also permitted, but please refrain from going barefoot or wearing sandals during the class. 


Fragrance-free environment – thank you! (Refrain from using any scented products, such as perfumes or colognes, scented hairspray/deodorant, scented laundry detergent, etc. until after class 😊

Monthly Fee: Twice-a-Week series (six sessions) is $45

Once-a-Week (three sessions) is $25

 Join our class for a mix of functional fitness exercises and Tai Chi. The first half focuses on improving strength, cardio, and mobility for everyday activities. In the second half, enjoy gentle Tai Chi to enhance balance, posture, and mindfulness. Modifications available, including chair support, suitable for arthritis and chronic conditions. Wear flexible clothing and sneakers or grip-socks for safety. No sandals or flip flops. Fragrance-free environment – thank you! (Refrain from using any scented products, such as perfumes or colognes, scented hairspray/deodorant, scented laundry detergent, etc. until after class 😊

Instructor:  LaNay Eastman, Tai Chi for Health Institute certified instructor since 2015. Administration on Aging (AoA) recommends and promotes the evidence-based Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention program for older adults. More information at www.taichiforhealthinstitute.org.
